Award Given by North Haven Professor to Quinnipiac University President
Osman Kilic, Professor of Finance at Quinnipiac and a North Haven resident, gives Friend of Turkey Award to President John L. Lahey.
Professor of Finance at Quinnipiac University and North Haven Resident Osman Kilic presented QU President John L. Lahey with the Friend of Turkey Award at the Turkish Cultural Center’s First Annual Friendship Dinner on April 7, at The Omni Hotel in New Haven.
Kilic, the former president of the Cultural Center, commended Lahey for his "ongoing support of increasing educational exchange opportunities between Turkey and the United States," according to a press release issued by the University.
On Wednesday April 20, the Center will be organizing Turkish Cultural Day in Hartford from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
