Concerts and food banking featured in December calendar.

North Haven's public schools will host a variety of seasonal events to close out 2010. With barely four weeks before the start of winter vacation, the schools will hold a series of concerts, as well as holiday food drives to collect goods for families in need.

December 2 is the final day of the first marking period for elementary schools. The second marking period midterm for the High and Middle schools occurs next week on December 8.

Next week, the High School Student Council will oversee their annual food drive from Tuesday to Friday. The Senior to Senior breakfast, where High School seniors meet with elderly residents, will take place on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. The Board of Education will hold their monthly meeting Thursday night.
