How Clean is Your Child's School Cafeteria?

A new report documents the cleanliness of North Haven school cafeterias.

Mouse droppings were found in the food storage room at one North Haven school last year, according to a report released this week.

The droppings, along with the presence of a dead cockroach in the food storage room at ACES Village School, were documented in the Connecticut Health I-Team report. The school scored a 98 out of a possible 100 points in the school cafeteria inspections, which were conducted on up to three different days last year.

The majority of schools in town closed the year with a perfect 100, including Clintonville, Montowese, North Haven High and Ridge Road.
