North Haven Grad Donates $3k For Music Program

The recent graduate raised the money with a concert.

At the July meeting of the North Haven Board of Education, recent graduate Stephen Cusano gave the group a $3,000 check to support the school district's music program.

The North Haven Citizen reports that Cusano, a 2010 North Haven High School graduate, and several others raised the money through a June 15 concert on the town green. Several corporations with locations in North Haven, like Stop & Shop and Big Y, along with local citizens, sponsored the event.

“It’s a nice way to give back to the music program at the school and all the teachers who’ve helped me,” said Cusano, a 2010 NHHS graduate, told the newspaper.
