North Haven Principal Named Connecticut’s Most Outstanding Administrator

The Parent-Teacher-Student Association recently named North Haven High School Principal Russell Dallai the most outstanding administrator in Connecticut, according to the New Haven Register.

“When you teach literature, you’re really talking about life itself,” Dallai, a former English teacher, told the New Haven Register. “It’s about values. It’s about culture. It’s about individuals. It’s about dealing with adversity in an ethical and positive way, which is the human experience.”

Dallai has been the principal of North Haven High School since 2008, according to the New Haven Register. Denise Creacy, North Haven High School PTSA president, said he deserved the award.

“He is such a wonderful guy. He’s very humble. He’s strong and he has great enthusiasm,” Creacy told the New Haven Register. “He’s involved, really dedicated to his kids. He takes the time to know them, and if there’s a problem or something, he’s always there to listen and come to a reasonable solution.”

Do you think Dallai is deserving of this award?
