William J. Neri, of North Haven, is the recipient of a $2,000 scholarship from BIC Corporation.
The scholarships are awarded annually to the children of BIC employees and are based on the students’ scholastic achievements.
This year, BIC awarded a total of $120,000 in scholarships to 88 students, including Neri, who is attending Johns Hopkins University/ Peabody Conservatory. He is the son of Cary Kieslich.
BIC Corporation began its scholarship program in 1971 to help employees' children defray the cost of college and graduate school.
