Quinnipiac University's Law School to Move to North Haven Campus

Quinnipiac University's School of Law is expected to move to the North Haven campus on Bassett Road next year, according to a report in the Quinnipiac Chronicle.

North Haven will soon be the home of Quinnipac University's School of Law, according to a Quinnipaic Chronicle report.

The private university, which is centered in neighboring Hamden, already maintains a satellite campus here in North Haven along Bassett Road.

QU's law school is currently housed on the Mount Carmel campus in Hamden.

But, the Chronicle reports that university President John Lahey discussed plans to move the law school to North Haven by the summer of 2014 during his "State of the QUnion" address last month.

According to Lahey, the university is moving to make the North Haven site a graduate campus.

Building 3 on the North Haven campus is expected to be renovated in order to ready it to house the law school, the Chronicle reports.
