Strong Graduation Rates Reported in North Haven

Town also beats state averages in minority graduation rates.

With a four-year graduation rate of 92.6%, North Haven's school system ranked well above the state average in a new report issued by the CT Department of Education. 

According to the Department, one in five CT students fail to complete high school in four years. For English language learning (ELL) students, the percentage for non-completion is closer to 40%. 

Despite this trend, North Haven showed promising statistics across the board. 77.8% of NHHS's Hispanic students graduated in four years compared to the state average of 64%.

For black students, 82.4% graduated in four years from North Haven as compared to 68.7% statewide. 

100% of Asian students graduated from NHHS in four years. In CT as a whole, that percentage was 88.8%
