Three Meetings for Board of Education Tonight
Transportation and finance meetings taking place in addition to regularly scheduled session.
Three Board of Education meetings are scheduled for this evening, each focusing on a different aspect of the town's school system.
Up first at 5:30 p.m. is a forum with the Transportation Safety to discuss the relocation of a bus stop from the intersection of Summer Drive and Jersey Drive to 10 Jersey Drive. The public is welcome to attend the hearing.
Next, the Finance and Operations Committee will convene to go over the 2011-2012 budget, and review capital projects and technology in the schools. That session is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.

Finally, the regularly scheduled Board of Education meeting will take place at 7:00 p.m., going over such topics as school field trips, the district's Teacher of the Year Award, and updates from ACES and Superintendent Robert Cronin.
