Come share in the fun on Saturday, July 9 when the New Britain Rock Cats (Minnesota Twins) play the Binghamton Mets (New York Mets) at New Britain Stadium, 230 John Karbonic Way. Gates open at 5:30 pm & the game will begin at 7:05 pm. The evening will help raise funds for the 2012 Greater New Haven St. Patrick’s Parade as part of Irish American Heritage Night.
Pre-game festivities will include entertainment by the band, “The Rising,” and Irish step dancers. Several members of the New Haven Gaelic Football and Hurling Club will be honored at a special pre-game ceremony. The first 1,500 fans through the gate will receive a giveaway of green hats!
The first pitch will be thrown out by the 2012 parade Grand Marshal, Kevin A. Smith. This is a fun, family friendly event.
