National Trails Day at Peter's Rock in North Haven

The Peter’s Rock Association will recognize National Trails Day on Saturday, June 2nd beginning at 10 a.m. at the main entrance to the park, 133 Middletown Avenue, North Haven, with a presentation by Master Gardener Walter Brockett on Invasive Plants. .

At 10:30 a guided hike will begin to the summit led by Association President Chris Fletcher. Join us to learn about Peter’s Rock, its vegetation, and the many interesting trails to follow. On your own you can view the various Eagle Scout bridges and other projects throughout the park and at the main entrance.

Trail bars and water will be available. We suggest hikers wear suitable shoes and clothing. We request that no dogs come along on this particular hike. For questions please call Chris at 203 535-3455.
