North Haven Football Favored in Thanksgiving Contest

8-1 North Haven will take on 4-5 Amity this Thanksgiving.

According to a poll on Sean Patrick Bowley's High School Football blog on CTnews.com, North Haven is expected to trounce opponent Amity in tomorrow's Thanksgiving game. 

North Haven, 8-1, and one win away from a Class L playoff berth, is favored by 86% of voters. Amity, currently 4-5, has a 9-5-1 record in the Thanksgiving game series. North Haven won the matchup last year 40-24.

  • Quarterback Tyler Vallie is ranked No. 19 in total offense, third in SCC Division I. He has 1,073 passing yards, and 867 rushing yards, fourth best in the division. 
  • Is 20th ranked team in state rushing, at 2,211 yards.
