Photo Contest: Be An Olympian!

Take photos of you, your kids, your neighbors, your friends doing something Olympian - diving, swimming, kayaking, gymnastics - you could win a prize!

Patch wants to celebrate the summer Olympics, and all the games that go with it!

To do that, we’d like you to share your favorite photo with our readers of you (or your kids, your friends, your neighbors, heck, even your pets) participating in a sport that is part of the Summer Olympics.

So whether it’s sailing or fencing, swimming or gymnastics, archery or kayaking (or any of the 26 sports in the games) – please share your photo!

You can post a photo to this article until 5 p.m., July 29. Patch editors will choose our 10 favorites, and then you, the reader, can vote for the winner in the comments section of an article that will be posted on July 31-Aug. 10. The winner will receive a $50 gift card from and Old Saybrook!

Here are some more details on the contest:

  • Open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia who are 18 and older.
  • To enter, upload a photo.
  • All entries must be received by 5 p.m., July 29, 2012 Eastern Time.
