Nursing Students Bring Holiday Spirit to St. Raphael's

Quinnipiac students distribute presents to children at St. Raphael's in New Haven.

Physician assistant, nurse practitioner, and nursing students from Quinnipiac University teamed up to make the holidays a little more special for children receiving care at St. Raphael's Hospital in New Haven.

Wearing elf and santa costumes, students wrapped and distributed donated presents to over 150 children and their families.

Volunteers read books to young patients, as well as shared tips on oral hygeine and teeth-brushing. Children were given new toothbrushes, as well as toothpaste and floss.
