Reiki Workshop, Financially Fit, Heart Healthy Diet and More This Week in North Haven

Here are some things to know about the coming week in North Haven. For a full list of stuff to do, look at the Patch calendar of events.

Monday is Columbus Day so town offices, schools and the library will be closed.

Events on our calendar this week include: 

Town Meetings:  North Haven town meetings include the Blight Prevention Appeals Board, Commission on Aging on Tuesday, Oct. 15; Board of Finance on Wednesday, Oct. 16; Library Board and Zoning Board of Appeals on Thursday, Oct. 17.

Programs for Seniors: The Joyce Budrow North Haven Senior Center offers a variety of events for seniors, including Meet the Dietician: What is a Heart Healthy Diet? on Thursday, Oct. 17, as well as lunches, programs and more. 

Check out the Library: The North Haven Memorial Library is open Monday though Saturday with a variety of events, including Fiscally Fit on Tuesday, Oct. 15 and an art lecture on Gauguin on Thursday, Oct. 17. Don't forget that the library also has museum passes available to residents.

Looking Ahead: Branford Compassion Club's Feral Food Drive & Fundraiser and Habitat ReStore Grand Opening on Saturday, Oct. 19.
