Established in 1922 as a parish to serve the Italian immigrant population of North Haven, St. Barnabas Church isMore presided over by the Archdiocese of Hartford. Led by the Reverend Hugh J. MacDonald, St. Barnabas offers daily Mass in addition to three Sunday services. Additionally, confessions are taken every Saturday between 12:30pm and 1:30pm.
Saint Frances Cabrini Day Care

Saint Frances Cabrini was a nun who immigrated to the United States in the late 1800's at the request of the CatholicMore Church to help the large  Italian immigrant popluation. During her time here, she started the Cabrini order of nuns, opened hundreds or orphanages and schools and helped many people. She eventually become a naturalized citizen of the United States, and is the first Saint to  also be a U.S. citizen.

Saint Frances Cabrini Day Care is run by nuns from the order begun by Mother Cabrini. The day care sits next to their home, and has a large yard and play area in back for the children to get their exercise.  This day care does take children with ADHD and behavioral problems. This location is affiliated with the United Way.
