About Joy
Joy VanderLek is a radio broadcast, print and web media veteran. Joy's background includes programming management, voiceover, research and writing. Joy's voice work and writing for national on-air programs have been heard on top radio stations in major markets across the U.S. and Canada. The appeal of research, writing and interviewing, is for Joy, the best thing about her work - learning about places and people. Starting with her high-school radio station in her home state of Delaware, Joy worked in broadcasting well before her graduation – and she's worked in the medium ever since.
Joy makes her home in Cheshire with her husband, Scott; daughter, Veronica, and two cats - Poi-Poi and Doodle and the 20-or-so goldfish, which live in the backyard pond.

Due to the prediction of heavy rain and high winds the Annual Source to Sound River Clean Up has been CANCELLED . This event will be rescheduled for May.
