Join your neighbors from all walks of life and communities from across the state to call for an end to the destruction of life in Gaza and stop the planned invasion of Rafah, which could carry with it unimaginable consequences.
After six months of bombing, occupation, blockade and displacement, at least 34,000 Palestinians have died - 1 out of every 65 human beings in Gaza. Most of the housing is destroyed or damaged, 1.9 million are still displaced and humanitarian organizations warn that the starvation which has begun could become catastrophic very soon.
There is no justification for the continuation of this siege. It must end now.
The weapons required to destroy Gaza come from the United States. This means we can stop it. 
Now, when students and workers face violent repression for speaking out against the atrocities committed in their name, it is more important than ever to build this movement! Join us for a march and rally that may be the largest so far in our state. Children's activities will follow the scheduled march.

While you’re here, enjoy getting to know other parents/caregivers and their little ones, and check out all that the library has to offer! There will be a quick story time about half way through the hour but the rest of the time is yours to enjoy and make new connections.

Tai Chi is a slow moving meditative exercise. You will be taught the Sun style which is the youngest form. It is very gentle on your joints, it increases strength and mobility, decreases stress and greatly improves balance. If necessary, it can be done seated. Every session will begin and end with warm up and cool down exercises. Each session builds upon the next. If you cannot attend all four sessions please do not register. No equipment required. 
Reminder: Upon registration you are automatically registered for each session in this 4 week series.

Blanche White is working as a temporary cook and housekeeper for a right-wing, Massachusetts gubernatorial candidate Alistair Brindle when someone tries to blackmail him. It’s an ugly mess that Brindle’s political team is eager to sweep under the carpet and that Blanche can’t resist cleaning up herself…especially after a young black man is killed who knew too much about Brindle’s dirty laundry. Her investigation raises dark secrets involving sex, environmental contamination, and political corruption, difficult stains on the white, conservative Brindle family that someone is trying to remove with murder.
