Peter's Rock National Trails Day Hike Rescheduled

Peter’s Rock Association has re-scheduled its National Trails Day celebration for Sunday, June 24, 2012, at 1 p.m.

At 1 o’clock Master Gardener Walter Brockett will give a brief presentation on invasive plants, followed by a guided hike at 1:30, led by Association President Chris Fletcher.

Join us to learn about Peter’s Rock, its vegetation and the many interesting trails to explore. On your own you can view the various Eagle Scout bridges and other projects throughout the park and at the main entrance.

Trail bars and water will be available. We suggest hikers wear suitable shoes and clothing. We request that no dogs come along on this particular hike.
